Hello!
A very busy next couple of days for us.  We have the track meet on Wednesday, June 11th and we leave for Camp Sagitawa that evening.  I have been checking the weather forecast and it doesn’t look good.  If it rains too much the track might get canceled.  Stay tuned for the weather updates!  Chances are though that if it rains Wednesday it will also rain Thursday so it may be canceled all together.  I want everyone to think positive, nice weather thoughts so we can still do our Camp and have a good time.  The weather in Chetwynd is not always the same as here so I hope we have some good luck.  The permission forms for track and for Sagitawa need to be brought back by Monday.  Also, all laptops computers, backpacks, and chargers need to be brought back by Monday, June 9.  The backpacks need to be vacuumed out and thoroughly cleaned with no crumbs, garbage, old lunches etc. left behind.  You would be surprised at what I have found in these backpacks after they are handed back!  Make sure they are clean and ready to store for next year.  They will be re-imaged so all documents etc. will be deleted.  Anything you want to save should be copied onto a thumb drive and put on a home computer.  You may also save to the SD60 vault any documents you may want to access next year etc.  After Monday, the computers will be kept at the school and will not be going home.  On another note, we had positive playgrounds today and our class did an awesome job of working with the primary children.  I have done this several years now and this was the best yet.  The class showed excellent leadership abilities and really helped the younger children to have a positive afternoon.  Thanks for such a great job on this activity.  Mrs. Lang also appreciated the effort and rewarded us all with Dilly Bars from Dairy Queen.  So, once again a reminder to get the permission forms back and to think positive weather thoughts for next week!  Mr. Peterson
