Terrance Baker – September 2008

Fundraising activities have started this week for Terrance Baker.  We are collecting garage sale items for this coming Saturday’s sale.  Mrs. Broderick’s class is also selling smoothies and popcorn this week to raise money for him.  They are having their own garage sale during the week in their class at lunch time.

Hello class!

• School is back in session and we kicked off the year with our annual pancake breakfast.  
• We are excited to have Mr. Adam Stefiuk doing his final practicum this fall in our class.  
• I look forward to meeting with the parents at the open house on the 15th of this month.  
• The laptops should be rolled out shortly after that.  I anticipate a great year.  We have another awesome group of Grade 7 students.  In fact it will be the last Grade 7 class to attend Duncan Cran because next year our grade 6’s from this year, will be grade 7’s at Dr. Kearney.  
• I would like to do some fun things like we did last year.  That includes a camping trip.  In order to do this, we will need to do a lot of fundraising.  If everyone is onboard with this, I will spearhead that effort.  I will send a letter home next week with some of the plans and goals for the coming year.  Welcome back everyone!  Mr. P
