Happy Easter Holidays

We had a fun party today.  Thank you to everyone for bringing goodies and games etc.  Room 20 seems to be a better location because it is a little more sound proof and has more room to do things.  The afternoon dance was fun too.  Have a great holiday and I will see you when we get back.  Take care!

Agenda items:

• Remember to bring back chocolate money by Friday so I can tally the final totals and award the prizes.
• Report cards have been sent home.  Keep the copy that is stapled to the FSA and sign and return the duplicate copy.
• Friday is the class party in the morning and a dance in the afternoon.  Assignments for treats are as follows:   
• Canadiens….chips
• Canucks…….veggies or fruit
• Oilers………..cheese/crackers
• Flames……….candy
• Senators…….cookies 
• Maple Leafs..pop

Hello,

Congratulations to our White Gotcha winners who will be going to Wendy’s for lunch this week:  Sarah, Melissa, and Brittany.  Tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day so remember to wear green for extra good luck!

We only have two cases of almonds left to sell.  Remember to bring back $$ before Spring Break.  The top four sellers will get a prize.  So far Brittany is first, Riley second, Lorne third, and Holly fourth.  That could all change quickly though, depending on who sells the most in the next two weeks.  We are planning a class party to be held the last day before Spring Break.

1. Math homework due tomorrow:  pages 288 & 289 
2. Class pictures went home today for those who ordered one.
3. Bring chocolate money back ASAP.
4. Social Studies:  Try This page 136 and Think For Yourself page 141 and Title Page Ancient China.
5. Science:  Check Your Understanding page 103
6. St. Patrick’s Day tomorrow – wear green!
7. Pajama Day – Thursday
8. Talent Show – Friday afternoon
9. Kodiak Day coming soon.  Look for permission slips in the next couple of days.
10. Reminder to keep cell phones, digital cameras etc. in locker during class time – better yet, leave them at home!

Hello,

The spaghetti dinner and dance last night seemed to be a lot of fun for many of you.  We had the leftovers today at lunch time with our class and Ms. Mac’s class.  Thank you to everyone who has brought back chocolate money.  We now have paid for all of it and whatever we bring in from this point on will be profit towards our year end goals.  Math homework is the chapter self-test on page 276.  Have a great weekend and once again, good luck to the boys tonight and the girls tomorrow at basketball.

Hello again,

Agenda items for today:

• There is a special PAC dinner and dance tonight from 6-8pm.  See flyers that were sent home for details.
• French Quiz Friday, March 6
• Math homework – Subtracting integers pages 264-265
• Several students still have overdue work for Mrs. Logeman for Fine Arts
• Chocolate almonds should be sold and all money brought back by Spring Break so we can award the prizes to the top 4 sellers.  Right now Brittany is 1st, Riley 2nd, Holly 3rd, and Tiffany 4th.
• Good luck to the boys and girls playing basketball this weekend.
